This notice explains how ReceiptGuard handles information. It should be read alongside the information displayed in the app and its Google Play Data Safety section.

Information and app functions

The app processes the receipt details and photos you choose to add so it can provide its record, reminder and export features.

The published listing states that records are stored locally on your device and that data is not shared with third parties.

Google Play currently categorises possible collected data as personal information, financial information, and photos and videos. The declaration and this notice must stay aligned with each release.

Why information is used

Information is used only to operate the app’s features, remember relevant preferences, provide support, maintain security, process purchases where applicable, and meet legal or platform requirements.

Children

The app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary for the app and platform features declared in Google Play. A parent or guardian can contact us with a concern.

Retention and deletion

Information stored locally can normally be removed by deleting records within the app, clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it. For information handled through a connected service, you can send a deletion request and include the app name and enough detail for us to identify the request.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information, but no digital system can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app, its services or legal requirements change. The latest date will always appear at the top of this page.
